Google Techtalks - Techtalks are presentations done for Google that are about one hour long each. The subjects are mostly about computers and technology, but there are a few that are different. Steve Wozniak - Co-founder of Apple Computers talks about how he became an engineer and about his new book, iWoz.
Richard Stallman, (2) - The founder of the Free Software Foundation talks about the dangers of software patents.
The Code (Linux) on YouTube and Google Video - A documentary that talks about the start of Linux and the Open Software movement. It is subtitled in another language (Swedish?), but almost all of the talking is in English. Features Richard Stallman, Linus Torvalds, and Eric Raymond.

Frontline - Another great series from PBS that takes on important and sometimes controversial issues. They try to portray both sides of an issue as impartially as they can.
Stupid in America - 20/20 episode dealing with America's public schools and why they are in such a horrible state. If you like this, you may want to check out The Underground History of American Education by John Taylor Gatto.
Uncovered: the Whole Truth About the Iraq War - Takes just about every piece of evidence that the Bush administration gave in support of war with Iraq and explains how they knew it was an exaggeration or flat out lie. Full length movie.
NOVA - PBS science television series. Great source of information about current and future technologies.
The Corporation - The Corporation is a documentary about looks at corporations, their legal status as a person, their history, and their impact on people, governments, and the environment. This link is actually a site that hosts a bittorrent download posted by the film maker, free and legal.
EntertainmentMovies in the Public Domain - Here are some movies on Google Video that are public domain, meaning they were never copyrighted or their copyrights have expired.
The Three Stooges in Violent is the Word for Curly, Disorder in the Court, and Back from the Front. These videos were copyrighted, but have now fallen into the public domain.
